The presentation of Opere Sonore in Japan met with great success. The Japanese dealer, Grand Swell Co., together with the Ciresa Company, organized an exclusive party on November 6th, 2008 in the showrooms of Zero First Design, where Opere Sonore have now the location for a permanent exhibition.
The guests attending the event have been personally invited among very important people and they have " discovered" the magical charme of Opere Sonore.
During the party a string quartet gave a concert, where the leader violin was a precious Stradivari, the Romanov 1731, lend for the occasion by the Nippon Music Foundation.
The President, Mrs.Shiomi, attended the event and appreciated with great interest the innovative and emotional character of the two Opere Sonore exhibited.
With this impressive presence Mr. Fabio Ognibeni wanted to underline the narrative force and the undiscussed qualities of the Fiemme spruce, the precious tonewood handcrafted and exploited for musical instruments by the Ciresa Company - Tesero (Italy) since more than thirty years.
Just after the event the journalists of four Japanese magazines interviewed Fabio Ognibeni and Paolo Ghedina. In the interview they told the readers about the past history and the tradition of the Fiemme spruce and about the origin of Opere Sonore. The Ciresa Company is well know in Japan as supplier of soundboards for Kawai Piano-Hamamatsu, for a limited edition of pianos.
A positive response, as confirmation of the interest for this innovative product, comes from Swarovski-Japan, that is organizing an exhibition in the city of Tokyo from December 10th to 20th, 2008. The Opere Sonore, handcrafted with the magical wood of Stradivari, have been requested as guests for the showroom of this prestigious event.
The adventure of the first permanent exhibition of Opere Sonore starts under a lucky star and Mr.F.Ognibeni is now waiting for good business results in this particular and interesting market.
