Opere Sonore have been the co-leader of the event organized by the Cultural Association MERKURIO of Turin at the Modern Art Museum located in the Castle of Rivoli.
On Sunday the 8th of November, the 200 people attending the event had the opportunity to listen to the concert of Kristin Lee, who played on the precious " Stradivari 1692" . The extraordinary sound of this violin was diffused in two big exhibition halls of the Museum through the wood membrane of the four Opere Sonore installed and connected to the control desk of the music composer Maestro Willy Merz. The perception of the depth of a sound full of harmonics, that only the natural tonewood can generate, was as if there were four violins " hidden" in the showrooms, playing at the same time. The effect excited great surprise and enthusiasm in the audience, that listened to and looked at the elegant shapes with curiosity and interest.
The violinist Kristin Lee, expressely come from New York for this concert, has been very much applauded and appreciated for the interpretative intensity and elegance.
