DOMUS ACADEMY
The Management of the Masters in Design at the DOMUS ACADEMY-Milan, Director Arch. Dante Donegani,has decided to present to the designers the " concept" of Opere Sonore, as an example of a design born from the material itself and from its function. Fabio Ognibeni- General Manager of the Ciresa Co., invited by the Arch. Claudia Raimondo, has reported all the details on the creation of the Opere Sonore, explaining the choices forced by the acoustic function and the physical-acoustic characteristics of the tone-wood ( Fiemme spruce). Through this lecture many young designers have had the possibility to acquaint themselves with an unknown world: the world of the magical wood of the music, that continues to enchant and to arise great interest.
The invitation from DOMUS ACADEMY in Milan states the value that the Ciresa staff has introduced with the technological reasearch applied to its own experience in the field of the soundboards for pianos and classical stringed instruments,famous and appreciated all over the world. March 2010
